Είναι του Μαρίνου Γαβριήλ, γνωστού στο χώρο των ρεμπετών ως Μαρινάκη.
Μετά το ‘70 κυκλοφόρησαν 2 LP του Μαρινάκη. Ενα μόνος του και ένας με την Μπέλλου.
Ο Μαρινάκης είναι απ’ τους Πειραιώτες ρεμπέτες, γνωστός για το ήθος του. Είναι μέλος της παρέας “Μαρινάκης-Ποτοσίδης-Χαλουλάκος-Γκούβερης” και έπαιξε μπουζούκι στα πάλκα για 40 περίπου χρόνια. Δισκογραφικές δουλειές έχει σχετικά λίγες.
Επαιξε σημαντικό ρόλο (μαζί με τους Κερομύτη, Γενίτσαρη, Καλφόπουλο κλπ.) στην αναβίωση του ρεμπέτικου το '70 - '75.

I have been listening Rebetika music and singers during the last 5 years.Now I am learning Ellinika too.So it could be very useful for me if some one can suggest me a plce from where to find rebetiko songs lyrics.

Good to know that we have friends that far from Greece.
Now here’s the newsflash: It’s illegal to distribute lyrics over the www! There’s a fee you have to pay when publishing music stuff. And according to the Greek pricelist, it isn’t petty cash!

I have been trying to find the lyrics for any of Sortiria Mpellou’s songs without success. All the Greek Song Databases seem to be dead! Particularly like “Me aeroplano kai Vaporia, Sunnefiasmenhy Kuriakh, Woman with Guts, Megales Epitxies” etc. etc. I can read Greek with a dictionary, and think it would be a real fun way to learn/improve my Greek. Can anyway help?

Found Mantinades a little bit difficult to manoeuvre in Greek (my Greek is limited) but I will get some help on this. greeksongs.gr seems to have closed down.
