Hi, Peter, I’m happy to hear from you again.
No, I didn’t edit yet the “Director’s Cut”, it must be a… remastered bootleg (again!) I am very interested to have some more details about it. Still planing to do my own… official bootleg, but I can’t yet give some dates.
The “Rembetiko” novel has been published at the Livanis Publishing Co, I think they have an on-line selling page. We already had three translation proposals, Italy (Rizzoli), Finland and Israel. Hope to see it translated in English too.
Meanwhile, tomorrow i’m putting the final terms with Nitro-Music Company for issuing in October the CD with Thesia’s songs for the theatrical “Rembetiko”. It is called “Mystirio Rembetiko”, and in comparison with Xarhakos songs, it will be… much more controversial than the book! The main singer is -again- Sotiria Leonardou!
Also, the same Company, will issue in December a six-CD’s box, with all the (100) songs of “Apopse stou Thoma”, the songs you heard in the Video-series, and some more interpreted by Leonardou, Tsaoussakis, and Paliatsaras (the tenor!!!).
That’s for the time being, in a few weeks I’ll have… more announcements.
