Nothing… I put it in the car… I don’t go on a hike carrying it on my back.
In your place, then, I’d get a “simple” one that effectively protects the instrument from drops and accidental knocks.

In my personal experience, a sturdy, reinforced soft case is generally more practical than a hard case. Hard cases are only for small instruments, such as the baglamas and violin…
