For sale: an authentic traditional three-course bouzouki, made in 2008 at the historic and highly respected luthier’s workshop “Theodoros M. Mountakis & Son” (17 Solomou Street, Athens).
The instrument bears the maker’s genuine internal label, featuring a handwritten date and signature. It stands out for its distinctive appearance, with a rare custom design featuring a handmade figure (bee and honeycomb motif) on the soundboard, along with beautiful traditional shell inlay around the rosette.
Instrument condition:
Structurally excellent: The instrument does not
show any warping, cracks or repairs whatsoever.
Natural wear: There is some normal wear to the varnish in certain areas due to use, which does not affect the sound in any way.
