Traditional Music Seminar
16–19 June 2026
The Traditional Music Workshops and the Domna Samiou Archive are travelling to Molyvos on Lesvos. Built on an amphitheatrical slope, the village is an open-air museum of traditional architecture. Lesvos has a rich musical tradition, which remains authentic and vibrant to this day.
Two workshops will take place:

Traditional singing with Katerina Papadopoulou

Traditional dancing with Charitonas Charitonidis
The classes will take place in Molyvos. They will begin on the morning of Tuesday 16 June and conclude on the evening of Friday 19 June.

Visit to Mantamados, a village with a rich musical tradition
