The coming weekend, 24–25 May, there will be an exhibition of instrument makers at the Serafeio Foundation. Anyone interested can find information at the following link:
On Sunday 25 May, from 1.00 to 1.30 pm, I’ll be at the exhibition to present Adonis Goulielmos’s guitars, with a focus on the M23 model. He’s an excellent maker (and a good friend, though that came later), and I’m honoured by his invitation.
Unfortunately, we’ll only have half an hour at our disposal, but that seems to be the fashion at festivals — a quick paddle in the shallows and then thank you, next… In general, the exhibition and programme look really interesting. I’ll attend as much as I can, and I hope to meet up with old friends and make the acquaintance of new ones.
