who is singing here
with Giorgos Xintaris?
I couldn’t find anything!
The LP cover doesn’t mention it.
From what I found, it’s Eleftheria Arvanitaki.
“Eleftheria Arvanitaki – My First Song. The singer’s first, previously unknown recording, from 1979. ‘So, it’s the beginning of the 1980s, and a new girl is making her appearance on the music scene. I remember how impressed I was at the time by the high-pitched timbre of her voice, hearing her sing on television music programmes of the era. Her recording debut came on Giorgos Xintaris’s first album, entitled «Rebetiko Nights», released by Minos in 1979. There, Eleftheria Arvanitaki provides backing vocals for Xintaris and sings with him Markos Vamvakaris’s dialogue song «I Don’t Want Him, Mother». It is worth noting that her name does not appear anywhere on the cover of the album’s CD reissue, while there are also many errors in the rest of the album’s credits, including the creators and so on.’”
Add the song too, so we can hear her voice.
